My son and I have been participated in Camp Tee-pee Pole's father-son day. The event is purposed to get fathers and their sons to spend the day together working together to pass obstacle courses, rife and archery ranges, fire building and memorising a verse from the Bible. Last year Rob (our president) and his eldest son joined us. We happened to bring our own bows and atl'atls. We were then asked if we would put on a stage at this years event.
We had the opportunity to teach about fifteen boys and their dad how two use atl'atls. That's my boy and me in the center.
Here is our president helping a boy and his Dad to throw for the first time.
All of these pictures where taken by one of Camp Tee-pee Pole's very own councillors. A big thanks and kudos goes out to him for taking these for us.
It may just be me but I think there are too many pictures of me in here.
Camp Tee-pee Pole is a summer camp for the boys. After this event we were asked back to join the camp during one of their weeks that the camp was open. It was a huge success. But I ummm ahhh forgot to take pictures. Shhhhh! Don't tell anyone. I'll do better!
